Re: adenomyosis, prometrium, and anxietyFrom: Karen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 27 Jan 2003 21:35:30 -0600 (CST)
BJ-- No we haven't spoken before. I just registered today. I am 48. It does sound like I am having estrogen dominance issues. I consume a lot of soy products, as it is my main protein. this may be adding to the problem. I read from a post below, that shortness of breath, and Higher BP, was a side effect of the prometrium. I know anxiety attacks are triggered by hormone imbalance, (but how????). I just need to get rid of these side effects and the anxiety attacks, and stop the bleeding, AND keep the adenomyosis in check, IF that is a correct diagnosis she made from the untrasound! A big order... I am going to try to work with an online pharmacist who helps deal with womens hormone issues. (from the power-surge board). Maybe I can get the progesterone cream you mention from him?? I didn't know that about the liver function interfering with the amount of prog. from prometrium. Thanks much for this and all your help.
