Re: Lower Back Pain After Bowel MovementFrom: Joyce (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 21 Jan 2003 19:35:11 -0600 (CST)
I had similar pain before my hysterectomy. The drs thought it was caused by the prolapse of my uterus. Come to find out, it didn't go away after the hyster! The source of it turned out to be several herniated discs in my low spine. Which, by the way, can cause wrap around pelvic pain if the disc is pressing on a nerve! Please see an orthopedist if you can't find answers elsewhere. Ask for an MRI. This will show the discs and surrounding tissues. [Xrays do not!] Best of luck Hon. I know how it feels!
