Reply: William F. von Almen, II, MD, FACOG: "Re: OVULATION PAINS ??" I recently went thru a 3-month session of lupron injections to shrink fibroids. My last injection was mid-October. Since mid-October, I have seen no signs of a normal period. I have had spotting off and on tho. Recently about a week ago, I had what felt like ovary pain on the left side low down in my abdomen for about a day and then it went away. Then it came back again 2 days later and it felt crampy and bloated. I took a couple of rounds of tylenol and it stopped. Does this sound like my ovaries are finally waking up?? Can I expect the cycles to normalize now that I felt that ovary pain? What does this mean?? Anything to be alarmed about?
