there are several options for reducing the risk of osteoporosis -- estrogen, bisphosphoneates like Fosamax or Actonel, or SERMS like Evista.

As far as other options, a laparoscopy to look for a dn clean up scar tissue is one, Lupron to suppress endo is another. She may want to get a second opinion from another doctor
