It could be related to the new pill, as different pills have different chemicals in them, even if you are on the generic brand. Since this has been going on for a while, it may have moved into the chronic stage, and have long term effects. Why not go back on the original pill, stop using any vaginal medication for 2-3 months, and see if it clears up. Other options would be vaginal biopsies, colposcopy and abstanence.
