Marcelle, B/c this thing is not really visible to the naked eye the dr may need to look at it thru the colposcope. It's a specaial kind of instrument that looks kind of like a set of binoculars. While this kind of thing is done primarily for cervical problems sometimes it is also done to check other parts of the vagina and vulva when problems in those areas arise. After he sees what it is that's going on he will tell you what can be done. Sorry that I can't be of more help to you. I wish you the best. ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html For women who are interested in additional support http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Endo_Vulvodynia_PCOS/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Zoladexforendometriosis/ I am a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
