Re: Any advice on how to 'jump-start' my period? It has been over a year! From: Abigail (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 31 Dec 2002 15:17:44 -0600 (CST)
Hi Jen: Many women find the bioidentical drug Prometrium easier to take than Provera. Your Dr. may recommend this or you can ask to have it perscribed for you. If you are not having periods, you should press your Dr. (or get another) to find out the cause. It is very important to know WHY you are not having periods. There are some serious problems that may develop if you do not shed the lining of your uterus or if you are not ovulating.
