Yeast Infection

Hello, I recently had a minor Yeast Infection. I finished taking the Gyne-lotrimin 3 on Sunday night (the 29th) Although I don't have near as much itching as before I started the medicine, there is still some slight itching every now and then. Especially after I wipe.(excuse the bluntness) It helps alot when I put vaseline on the area which leads me to think that the medicine made me dry or something It has been years since my last Yeast Infection and the last time I had one, I used the gyne-lotrimin 7 day treatment (I don't think the 3 day was on the market yet) and the itching was gone before I was finished with the medicine. Now I'm wondering if I should have gone ahead and gotten the 7 day instead of the 3 day Gyne-lotrimin. Should the itching be completely gone now or does it take a few days after the last day of treatment to completely cure it? I'm wondering if I should go buy the Gyne-lotrimin 7 day treatment and start over.

Thanks for your help.
