Swollen Lymph Nodes

Hi, i am hoping you could answer these questions. Only recently in the last 4 months I have been expieriencing swollen lymph nodes in both of my armpits. The first two months in the right and now in both. These seem to come the week before my period and enlarge during my period for the two to three days of bleeding. They range in size from the size m&m's to "peanut m&m's during my actual period. They don't hurt but I do feel a slight burning/itchyness enough so that I notice them when they arrive. It's strange because it was so sudden. I know you'r cycle changes with age is this a common symptom? There are not really any other physical symptoms. (I am always tired)(and my breasts are sore during PMS...and bad cramps which is probably normal). (I don't take contraceptives, but do take certain prescription meds which i have been on for two years...if that's important.)I've been to my PCP and he wants to run tests for various things from cytomeglya to Epsteins Bar. I have not seen my OBGYN about this yet. However when I go to the doctors it has been after my period when these lumps are not noticable. So he says he doesn't feel anything and I shouldn't be concerned because good swollen lymph nodes do dissapear. Are concerns warrented here? What else should I be doing? I am keeping a log but don't want to avoid something that might be very serious. Any input would be helpfull! Thanks
