Reply: Richard Chudacoff, MD: "Re: [Birth Control] Am I OK?" I am 18 yrs old and have been on the depo shot for 2 years. Sometimes (especially recenyly) I bleed. Sometimes heavy, sometimes light. I also have a brown discharge. My mom just had a hysterectomy because of problems with bleeding and polups. They also discovered endometriosis. I had a pelvic ultrasound about a month ago and it turned out normal. They decided to do the ultrasound because i bled 3 times in a month and once or twice each month before that. I am really scared of not being able to have children. I have been thinking about switching from the shot to somethung else. I don't know what to do. Please help. I am really scared.
