If I were you I'd take a preg. test. There is a chance you could be pregnant since you have missed pills. Also, it's a myth that it's difficult to get pregnant if you've been on the pill for a long time. As long as you ovulate, pregnancy is a possibility. I was on the pill for 8 yrs. continuously and got pregnant the first month I was off them. You may not even be late for your period in the first place if you were mixing and skipping pills--it could have thrown your cycle so off whack that you won't have a period for a while. All I can say is take a test and go see your doctor so you can get your hormones straightened back out.
