I have been on birth control pills for a year in February. My periods are extremely regular being a medium flow and lasting 4-5 days. However, my last period was very light and dragged out for seven days. Now,I was supposed to have my period on Christmas but it has yet to arrive. But a mishap occured. Monday or Tuesday I had unprotected sex (with the pill). Friday 12/20/02 my boyfriend had surgery so I woke up at 5:30 am, forgetting my 8:15 pill time and I did not realize my mishap until 10:30 pm the same day. Then saturday 12/21/02 I took my last active pill on time. Sunday my placebo was taken on time, monday the same. But Monday night my grandmother was killed, so I went out of town. Tuesday (a placebo day)I was busy helping with funeral arrangements and forgot my pill (an hour late). I do not have my period as of 12/27/02 6:45 pm. Could I be pregnant? Since I have finished my first semester of college, my boyfriend and I were both in a car accident, AND my Grandmother was killed in a car wreck, could I be suffering from anything stress-related? Please, I just need some help.
