I did say Maxine's doctor was ungracious about the card, and I compared his bad behavior to my favorable experience simply to point out the difference in what one should expect. I never said she did not experience what happened. But I do still think she should clear the air on why she didn't have a physical exam this time. There must be a reason for it. If he's not doing his job ,as you say, then why not report him to the state licensing board? Do you have private insurance, Medicaid/Medicare, or do you pay cash for his services? Doctors do get audited ,so if he's always taking your money, but never does any exams, he'll be found out and charged with insurance fraud. And, your gender bias has no place on this forum. Would you like to be turned down for a job or promotion because you're a female?
