Hi,

I am sending this message on the behalf of my sister. The doctors have recently identified a 17.1 x 10.6 cm solid cum cystic mass in right side of her pelvis. It represents the right side ovarian mass. The left ovary has normal size with no mass. My concerns:

1- How to identify the cystic mass is non-cancerous? 2- Is the surgery only solution? What could be the concerns during the surgery? 3- Can this proved to be dangerous?

I would appreciate the replies.

Regards, Tanvir
