Depends on what it is. If it takes a double dose to cause a problem, you would be negative. If on the other hand the gene is dominant and you are heterozygous, you would be positive. In either case, being heterozygous means that you have both the negative and positive gene and can pass either on to your offspring.

My Dr. said im negative, that i don't have it. Im >confused.
