hi, i 19 years old and i have been suffering with an eating disorder for 5 years now. i went on birth control (ortho tri cyclen) about 6 months ago to help regulate my periods. it worked well however as a result i gain about ten to fifteen pounds. i know it was because of the pill because i did not change my eating or exercise routine. anyway i was getting really depressed because of the weight gain so i went off the pill. my periods are all messed up again and i need to go back on it. my mom said she was watching good morning america and there was something about a new pill that causes weight lose. it is only 1 or 2 pounds. i was wonder what this pill was called so i can ask my doctor about it. all i know is that it is new. i need to find something but what i am on won't work for me. thank you so much for your time, i hope you can help.
