Angela,

They gave you Celebrex for your post-op pain after surgery instead of something like Percocet? As far as I know it's not the norm to give something like this (Celebrex or Vioxx) in place of a narcotic like Percocet.

I would definitely call your dr and tell her that you want something else b/c this is not helping. I know that my dr told me that it's not uncommon to give both an anti-inflammatory and a narcotic to take together for post-op pain but never heard of replacing one with the other.
