Hypo Thyroid and Endo

I have been dx with Hypoactive Thyroid and Endometriosis and recently had a bilateral ultrasound done on my thyroid and a nodule was found. All that I've read on the Internet is that both of these "conditions" are hormone related. I'm going to see an Endocrinologist on Dec 31st but until then I will remain scared to death not knowing what is going on with my body! I've had Thyroid "fullness" since I was 16 or 17 (now 25). Was dx about 3 years ago as slightly Hypoactive, was on Synthroid for about a year and then my levels were normal again, no need to stay on Synthroid. Dr. looked at my neck at pre-op physical and said she wanted to check it again, this was in October. Came back slightly hypo again. Went for recheck, Dr felt my neck and said she felt a lump she ordered the ultrasound and I had my levels checked again, now it's borderline normal, still wants me on Synthroid.

I want to know from a doctor if there is any connection between Hypoactive Thyroid and Endometriosis? I would like to go to the Endocrinologist with as much knowledge as possible.

Thank you for any information. KC
