2 QuestionsFrom: Mickey (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 4 Dec 2002 09:20:49 -0600 (CST)
Brief history - 36 years old, no children, not sexually active, no chronic health problems 1. After searching the archives, I've learned that paps are best done at mid-cycle. I have an appointment with my gyn this month, and my period will probably be over for only 2 or 3 days before the exam. Is it okay to go ahead, or should I reschedule? 2. I had a rectal exam in August due to bloody diahrea. I was told that everything was normal. For a couple of days, I've noticed tiny spots of bright red blood on the toilet tissue after BM's. Is this reason for concern, after a normal exam just a few months ago? Should I have it checked out at my appointment, or take a wait and see approach? Thanks a lot.
