THe advent of menopause is favorable as it helps in reducing the size of the fibroid. The hormone medication prescribed by your doctor should induce a state similar to that you would have with the onset of menopause, therefore it would also helop in reducing the size of your fibroid and stop bleeding. Monitoring every other month is good enough.
