It is not unusual for my cycle to be irregular. However, I am concerned that it has been over 8 weeks since my last cycle. Pregnancy tests were (-) and my dr is waiting on my blood work up. How long is it safe to have gone without a period? Should I be taking some type of med to begin my cycle? I was prescribed ortho-novum in sept but have not been able to begin the pill since my cycle has not started up. Any ideas? Thanks!
