Next in thread: D.N.: "Re: ovarian remnant syndrome" Reply: D.N.: "Re: ovarian remnant syndrome" Dear Doctor I too have had ovaries and womb removed 10 years ago, had a 6 cm ovarian cyst removed 5 years ago and for the second time have a 6cm ovarian cyst but this one is causing a great deal of pain - some of the pain is soreness experienced when moving and some a throbbing pain experienced at any time. Pain has been quite severe for almost two weeks and when I went in to get an ultrasound this is what they found. I have had endometriosis and wonder if this is a link to explaining why this syndrome occurs. I have also had DES exposure in utero which may be another link. Any feedback /suggestions would be greatly appreciated. One more thing: would natural progesterone help treat this disease? Lily Next message: Alicia M.
