Hi All, This is very embarassing to ask. But I really need the advice on whether to see my doctor or not. I have had breakthrough bleeding for 2 years on the pill. I have tried 3 different kinds through this with no change. I finally decided 3 months ago to go off the pill. I went for my yearly and discussed it with my OB/Gyn. MY pap came back normal. Now after 3 months off the pill I have again been dealing with break through bleeding. I started bleeding again exactly 5 days after my period. I had a 9 day period this month. I started out with twinges on left side like I was ovulating.. But this is not possible. 3 days of twinging turned into an extreme pain across the lower stomach. It even hurt to walk. Couple hours later it was fine but have not stopped bleeding. It is not a lot of blood but enough to freak ya out. I have been bleeding the last 10 days. It is sometimes red but mostly dark. I cannot figure out wat this is. I dont want to call doc and feel dumb. Like it is nothing. As a side note, I have had microscopic hematuria for the past 3 years. There is no known cause for this. When is the correct time to call the doc. Any reassurance would be great. Thank you in advnce. BZ
