Stabbing PainsFrom: Nicole (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 20 Nov 2002 11:32:04 -0600 (CST)
I have a history of irregular bowel movements (I know this isn't everyone's favorite topic.) For almost a week, I have had horrible pains coming from, what feels like, my ovaries. Yesterday, everytime I would sit, it felt like someone was stabbing me. I have tried suppositories 3 times--but if barely works and the pain comes back by morning. Last night I finally used an enima, but once again, I am starting to feel uncomfortable. Are these pains associated with this or is it something more serious? I was told by a nurse that if I don'"clear out my system" before the general anesthesia that I'm getting tomorrow, in a couple days I could be even more constipated. If so, is there something else you could reccommend for me to use? Thanks for the help--Nicole
