I am 33 year old woman who has been on the pill for 4 months & hated it - I have lost my sex drive, been very moody and this past month had horrible PMS symptoms, so I am going off the pill at the end of this pack. My internist suggested an IUD although I have not had any children. Is this a good method of birth control for someone like me? I am in a dedicated relationship and was wondering what anyone knew about the IUD. I thought they only prescribed the IUD for women who already had at least one child. Please let me know what the pros and cons are. Thanks!!!
