For medical purposes that's different but drs don't prescribe douching for medical purposes often b/c of the problems it can cause.

Also, the kind of douching that you are talking about for the ph doesn't work for every woman with a high ph. And for someone with vulvodynia for example douching with vinegar is not exactly the best idea.
