Laproscopy or not??? Reply: Fabio Fiorino, M.D.: "Re: Laproscopy or not???" Along with a uterine polyp, I have been told I have a small fallopian tube cyst (1.5 cm). A D&C Hysteroscopy is scheduled to remove polyp. My Doctor said a Laparoscopy could also be performed to check Fallopian tube cyst, but said it was not absolutly necessary. She is leaving the decission up to me whether or not to perform the laparoscoy while doing D&C. History of ovarian cancer in grandmother - pre-cancer in uterus (&hysterectomy) in my mother, removed pre-cancerous cells in my cervix. Any advice on whether or not I should have laparoscopy?
