At my pre-op appointment, the anesthesiologist was concerned about my cold because I have bronchitis and they're using general anesthesia. What are the risks? My doctor does not like to use local, but would an epideral be an option? Also, I've never been told that I have HPV, but since I have precancerous cells, I assume I might (??) After reading a recent post saying that it is possible to contract HPV through birth, I'm concerned--could my daughter have it and us not know? She's a healthy two year old who rarely even gets a cold. I'm hoping that's a good sign.
