Colon and breast cancer can be, though only about 10% of breast cancers are hereditary. I don't know the percentage for colon cancer. Your history makes you think anyway, so you and your sibs need to be the ones that do things right, such as regular checkups, breast self exams, mammograms, colonoscopies at appropriate intervals, and so on.
