I have to say that I am troubled by your doctor's response. 18 high temps indicates pregnancy, as does a positive HPT even if it is a light line, and bleeding indicates a threatened miscarriage. It is NOT too early to have a miscarriage. If your temperatures drop that would be indicative of a miscarriage. There are other reasons for an extended luteal phase but pregnancy is by far the most common. I'm glad that he sent away for blood work. Good luck! Not a doc. Practices NFP.
