Hi, I ovulated on day 13 and my temp usually drops on 12 days past ovulation and then I start my period. This month however my period did not come on 12 dpo. Yesterday was 17 dpo and I started my period. This morning (18 dpo), my temp was still high above coverline. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it came back with a very faint line for positive. I went to my doctor and he said that I am not pregnant because I got my period but can't explain my temps staying high. I asked if it could indicate an early miscarriage and he said "no, it would be too early to miscarry" This flies in the face of everything I have ever heard of. He did send me for blood work but I am just wondering if what he said is right or if my temps do begin to drop, could it mean I did miscarry? Thank you for helping clear this up.
