Reply: samir fouad Aziz MD: "Re: U/S tomorrow ??" I am scheduled for a repeat US in my dr.'s office tomorrow for a growing fibroid. Over the past year it has gone from 96ml to 260ml. I have had the firboids for about 5 years. I started my period today is it still okay to go for test? I am concerned about the growth, being I'm 44 and really don't want to postpone it. I have researched and they said that it is common at this age for them to have a growth spurt because of hormones. My breasts have also become even more lumpy and swollen all the time. Any thoughts?
