bladder endometriosis for DRs only pleaseFrom: Carolyn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 16 Nov 2002 10:54:10 -0600 (CST)
In april/02 I had an ultrasound that showed a one inch mass on the posterior aspect of my bladder (between bladder and uterus) In august/02 I had a biopsy by a urologist which was positive for endometriosis. In sept/02 I had a ct scan that showed the mass to be four inches with fluid surrounding the mass. In nov/02 I had another ultrasound done at a larger center which showed this mass to be one inch but now inside the bladder. Which test is correct. Is the ultrsound missing the size of the mass because it's not 3D. why has this mass moved from the outside to the inside of the bladder. I am 29 yrs old. No pregnancies and no children. Currently being passed back and forth between gynecologist and urologist.
