Catlin, It's very possible that the pains could be caused from a cyst. I don't understand why your doctor is waiting a month besides your period and wanting to see if the bcp helps. However, with the minor changes in your pap smear cells and the enlarged and inflamed right ovary...I would be concerned. If the pain continues to get worse, call you gyn right away and let him/her know...k? I hope that this helps...I too had two ovarian cysts last fall so I know what you are going through...same age, not sexually active either. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts!
