However, it did with me. I had a great deal of pain before the hystectomy, but still desired sex. Now, the desire is no longer there. This makes it difficult with my husband sometimes. I saw a program on TV a few weeks ago that listed "decreased desire" as a side effect of a hysterectomy. GOOD LUCK with everything!
