Kelly Shanahan, MD, FACOG: "Re: post-intercourse bleeding" I have searched the topics but have found nothing similar to my problem. I have had bleeding after intercourse for the past 5 months. It starts as spotting when intercourse is around the days of ovulation and increases in amount (a lot of red blood) as the intercourse happens between ovulation day and the beginning of my new period. I has never happened before, and there was a small time (for a month) in this period that it didn't happen. Recently I had very little blood after sex before my ovualation day. My boyfriend is a little bit rough (I feel anot pain but sth as increase of the pelvic pressure). No medication of any kind, no births, just cryotherapy for inflamation of the cervix, normal US of internal genitals. My doctors thinks it might be endometriosis (but I've had none symtoms of this kind except of occasional dyspareunia).
