PLEASE HELP ME

Recently after having sex with my husband, I was very sore around my vaginal area. I assume because I was a virgin until I married, and I figure that the soreness will go away with time. I figured that it was probably minor tearing during sex. 3 days later the soreness turned into itching.I saw a nurse practitioner who examined me and sampled discharge and said that it was BV. I was prescribed metrogel which did little for the itching, and told to apply 1% hydrocortisone for itching. After I used the gel for 5 days at bedtime. I was then put on the oral metronidazole. I noticied that when I urinated and wiped I felt a sharpness that felt as if I had been cut. I got a mirror and saw small flesh colored "skin tags" They were similar to tiny pimples on the inside of my vaginal lips and wall. I could move them around with a q-tip. I actually removed one, it looked like a blood-streaked core of a pimple. When I removed it there was bleeding in the area that I removed it from. So I went back to the doctor. The nurse practitioner told me that she had never seen anything like it before. She said that she doubted that it was genital warts but took cultures anyway for herpes, and warts. She told me to await the results in about 3 to 4 days. I am terrified. That was the last thing that I expected to hear. This has made me question my entire relationship with my husband. We have only been married for 2 months, and everytime that we have had sex we have managed to use condoms, we are not ready for kids yet. What COULD this be?
