Fused Labia

My 6 month old daughter has had fused labia since birth. The pediatrician said they were about 3/4 fused and now are about 5/6 fused. Her urethra remains unblocked, but I am becoming concerned about this. Also, I am breastfeeding. I thought that she would get estrogen through my breastmilk which would help alleviate this problem. Any advice? My doc said they could give her estrogen cream but they would just re-fuse when I stopped using it. Another doc told me it was my fault because I let her get diaper rash. (She rarely has even the slightest pinkness on her bottom.) Thanks in advance. Ann

By the way, I posted here during my entire hyperemetic pregnancy. You guys are great. Turns out I had 52 gallstones!!! Boy do I feel better now that my gall bladder is removed!
