Lapidus M.D.: "Re: waiting for a miscarriage" I found out by dropped HCG levels and 5 weeks 2 days that my levels were low and dropping and it took about a week for my body to realize that the baby was gone and start to bleed. I would say that if it is okay with your doctor and you are comfortable with it you could give it a little time, if something isn't happening within the week you will probaly need a procedure done, because you won't be able to miscarry naturally. I am very sorry for your loss. I am currently experiencing my second miscarrriage. This is just my opinion from my own experience, my little bit of medical training, and research I have done. I will pray for you, that you will be comforted in this difficult time.
