Unidentifiable Vaginal InfectionFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 14 Nov 2002 13:47:32 -0600 (CST)
I am 22 and have been having vaginal infections since I was a child. I have an infection currently that began in July. The prominent symptoms are vulvar itching and redness and discharge. I have been to two gynecologists and have had 2 pap smears, an std culture, a vaginal culture, and always my samples have been examined under slides. Although it is obvious I have an inection, I am told nothing shows on the tests. I have taken Cleocin, A yeast cream ,diflucan, and metro tablets. I still have the infection, and I am becoming very frustrated. What can I do?
