Sometimes some small areas of endo. are left behind and inmediate HRT
keeps them alive, that is why some Drs. prescribe hormones a few months
after surgery.

Endometriosis was also present again. The ovaires/endometriosis were removed. Endometriosis was found inside one of my ovaires. Now here's the question. I have started having some discomfort/pain on my right side. I told Gyn about it on my last post-surgery check-up (mid-September). He said he felt nodules that could be swelling from surgery, scar tissue buildup, or possibly endo again. Told to call him it things got worse; otherwise, he'd see me in March'03. I'm currently on the CombiPatch for HRT. In March, I'll be switched to estrogen patch. Does anyone have an opinion as to what the nodules are? Could the endometriosis be back so quickly? <<<
