I'm a 37yrs and had two previous surgeries (myos) for fibroids in the last ten years. Two months ago I had real heavy bleeding(first time)had to go to hospital. Upon going to the doctor(live in FFM,Germany)I was told I had 3 myomas on the outside of the cervix(2cm-4cm)and numerous ones in the uterus, besides the ones located on the outside (8) The doctor does not want to do surgery and suggest, because of blood loss and in his opinion it wouldn't get better. Since I do not have any children and I want to get pregnant, I was given two options...1)partial hysto or drug(zoladax)? to stop the bleeding and growth of Fibroids. I am looking for an alternative. I would like to find a specialist here in Frankfurt or area who has worked with fibroids and is knowledgable on the what is on offer to have a clearer picture, and I want to preserve my uterus. I know that, my fertility maybe a big??? So, the question is...does anyone know of a doctor/specialist that my be able to get me another option? I really need to take care of this since I was told waiting IS NOT an option. And I want to have children!!! Thanks
