I was only on it for 6 months.Thats only 2 shots. The 1st shot I had was alright, my period went right away and didnt bleed till a week before my next shot, until then I bleed till I got off depo! I know that sounds really bad and it is...I had odd mood swings.Also you really dont like to have sex alot b/c of no estrogen in depo. Im not trying to steer you away from getting depo. It is different for every woman but try it for one month and see how she does. I still havent stopped bleeding and its been 4 months..so please consider the side affects. Thank you!
