3 years after hysterectomyFrom: Jerry (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 Nov 2002 18:05:06 -0600
PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I had to have a hysterectomy because of large tumors on my ovaries. They were unsure if they were cancerous or not. I have not been the same, and I am miserable. I have spent a large amount of money seeking help. I can't find a doctor to help me. I also have low thyroid. I am currently taking .3mg of synthroid daily, 75 mg. effexor 3 times a day, (for depression) 2.50 mg of Premarin daily. My symptoms are: -weight gain of 60 lbs. -very, very hot all of the time -dizziness, or as if my equilibrium is off -puffiness, swelling in hands, feet, and face -vaginal dryness----no wetness at all it is painful to have intercourse, and very uncomfortable for my husband even if we use some type of lubrication -lethargic -very depressed-if not taking the effexor -mood swings -desperation for the feeling of normalcy A friend told me about a hormone replacement called estrodial---a more natural replacement. Do you know of it? What is your opinion on it compared to Premarin? I have tried alot of different natural formulas and supplements, but nothing helps. I pray that you might have some answers for me. Thank you in advance for reading my e-mail and for your response. Sincerely, Denissa Stecklein dsteck@ptsi.net
