This has had the effect of starting up menstruation after about 5 years of ammenhoroea. I get really bad period pain, and very heavy bleeding (always did though), and as this is the only recognisable effect the prednisolone is having, I was wondering if there is any point in taking it. Is it vital to my health that I do have periods? Also, I've been prescribed mefenamic acid for the pain - it says on the leaflet that you shouln't combine it with prednisolone. Any advice?
