All your symptoms MAY be the result of hormone imbalance. My opinion, that is probably the cause. And additionally, I would guess it is low progesterone. Anxiety is often a symptom of low progesterone. Progesterone is mainly produced by the ovary in the 2 weeks after ovulation. If you are not ovulating or not ovulating regularly then it is obvious that you are very low on progesterone. Any abdominal surgery can result in changes in ovarian function, the theory being that the shock of the surgery and/or interference with blood flow to the remaining ovary causes disfunction. Personal suggestion, if they offer birth control pills to regulate the hormones, turn them down. Ask for bio-identical hormones, whichever ones you are low on. The synthetic hormones in the pill can make matters worse. Good luck. BJ
