Contact bleeding, persistent or recurrent foul discharge not treated with ordinary therapy for infection should alert us to carefully examine the cervix,also any form of irregular bleeding. Colposcopy is a tool to see magnified view of the cervix and could detect any lesion from which biopsy is taken for histopatholgy,
