So far my only side affect is slight brest tenderness. Before I started taking the pill, I had re-accuring urinary tract infections during the months of June-July, and was on several different antibiotics as treatment. Since then I haven't had one...until 3 days ago. I haven't started taking antibiotics yet, I heard a rumor that when you take antibiotics, the pill doesn't work? So I bought Uristat an over the counter medication for UTI's. My question is, do antibiotics cause birth control to be un-effective, will the Uristat I took effect it, and could my current UTI possibly be cause by my starting the birth control, maybe a possible side affect? Help! Thanks.
