I've been dealing with a low-grade fever (99.5-101; I usually run below normal) and severe fatigue for approximately a couple months now. My family physician has run several blood and urine tests (I've even been tested for West Nile!) and can find nothing. I don't seem to have any other symptoms (except irritability, brain fog, and other fatigue-related symptoms). My doctor thinks it could be a virus, but no one else in our family of 6 has come down with this, and it's been running on so long. I am getting desperate -- I am sick and tired of being sick and tired, and want to be able to interact with my family in more than a minimal way. I am 41, force myself to exercise what I can a few times each week. Any opinions? Suggestions as to what specialist I might consider? Thanks!!
