Re: [Birth Control] breakthrough bleedingFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 25 Oct 2002 13:40:28 -0700 (PDT)
Emily, The length of time that you have the breakthrough bleeding can sometimes depend on the brand of pill that you are taking. Also, if it's all right to ask, are you taking just the hormone pills and skipping the placebo pills b/c of Endometriosis? If you are then it can sometimes take about 3 to 6 months for your body to adjust to taking the pill this way. I had quite an ordeal with this a few years ago and it was quite frustrating. Feel free to e-mail me privately any time if you have more questions. And also, if you are still concerned talk to your dr. Take care, ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
